Considering the rapidly evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, Seaspray Hotel is taking standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously, as well as additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and staff members.

 

Seapsray Hotel has set-up procedures to follow the guidelines of the Belize Tourism Board. We are adopting all the published standard recommendations and following the authority’s regulations to reduce exposure to and transmission of a range of illnesses, which include hand and respiratory hygiene, and safe food, practices.

 

All our team and staff members are adhering to the latest guidance and hygiene protocols, we assure you that they are well trained to handle situations that may occur at our hotel and we have confidence in their abilities.

We are excited to announce that Seaspray Hotel has been designated a Tourism Gold Standard Tour Accommodation in Belize, approved by the Belize Tourism Board.
 
This means we have a “Gold Standard Program Manager” who implements protocols and ensures compliance. Implement Monitoring & Reporting – to conduct non-invasive temperature checks and utilize the Ministry of Health App.

BELIZE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OPENS OCTOBER 1ST

The reopening of the Philip Goldson International Airport marks a phased reopening for leisurely travel, beginning October 1st 2020.

Arriving travelers can either present a negative PCR test result, taken within 72 hours of travel; or, pay for a rapid test within the airport at the traveler’s expense.

BELIZE POSTPONES TOURISM REOPENING

The country is experiencing an increase in Covid-19 cases, and in a press conference held yesterday, the Prime Minister of Belize – Rt. Hon. Dean O. Barrow – in an overabundance of caution, announced that it was necessary to delay the re-opening of the Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE), which was scheduled for August 15th, 2020.

BELIZE ANNOUNCES PHASED RE-OPENING PLAN 

 Yesterday, the Prime Minister of Belize made the official announcement that Belize’s international airport (BZE), the Philip Goldson International Airport will be opened on August 15, 2020, as part of the country’s five-phase re-opening strategy for tourism.
