Thanks to United Airlines, which also flies to Belize from Los Angeles, Denver, Newark, and Houston, travelers can have access—on a 727—to the second-largest barrier reef in the world, lush waterfalls, and historic culture in the form of an intangible UNESCO heritage and ancient Maya ruins.

Your Must-Do Winter Stop: Placencia, Belize
